My new series of paintings draws from the charm and absurdity of Airline Safety Cards. All paintings are acrylic on wood panel, in sizes ranging from 8" x 8" to 24" x 36". I created the paintings while I was caring for my mother during her worsening dementia, moving her to LA, and closing out her apartment of 42 years. I was also thinking about and processing the acceleration of global climate change. Inaugural gallery exhibition was in December, 2022.
